Art styles vary from the dots and symbols of the Desert people to the Rarrk of the Kunwinjku and Yolgnu of Arnhemland.
Larrakia, Peppimenarti and Litchfield are featured as well as other parts of the Territory and from parts of Western Australia.
We are an aboriginal owned business selling genuine indigenous wares rather than cheap replicas. A profile of the artist is given with every purchase, and a certificate for larger pieces.
Local Artists
Many of our art and crafts made by local artists, are created right here on the Didgeridoo Hut premises in Humpty Doo. Other items that are not produced here, we source from different parts of Australia. These include opals from outback Queensland and Zebra rock jewellery from the Kimberlys.
Aboriginal Artists from remote communities throughout Australia's Northern Territory stay with us while they produce their arts and crafts making it possible for visitors to meet with the artists and hear them explain their Dreamtime stories. We spend a great deal of time with our artists, which in turn results in museum-quality Australian Aboriginal arts and crafts.
Our shop is located on the Corner of Arnhem Highway and Stuart Highway in the direction of Kakadu, Jumping Crocodile Cruises, Litchfield National Park and Territory Wildlife Park.
